AMR Resources prices $250M IPO on Nasdaq at $10 per unit

AMR Resources Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: AMACU) priced its initial public offering of 25,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit, raising $250,000,000, according to a press release issued July 16, 2026.



The units began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on July 17, 2026, under the ticker symbol "AMACU." Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one redeemable warrant, with each whole warrant entitling the holder to purchase one Class A ordinary share at $11.50 per share, subject to certain adjustments.



Upon separation of the units, Class A ordinary shares and warrants are expected to trade on Nasdaq under the symbols "AMAC" and "AMACW," respectively. An amount equal to $10.00 per unit will be deposited into a trust account upon closing, which is expected on July 20, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.



The company has granted underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,750,000 units at the IPO price to cover over-allotments. BTIG, LLC is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering.



AMR Resources is a blank check company incorporated in the Cayman Islands that intends to focus on acquiring businesses in the mineral resources sector. AMR Resources Sponsors LLC is the company's sponsor.
