AMC Robotics partners with HIVE for AI compute infrastructure
AMC Robotics Corporation (NASDAQ: AMCI) and HIVE Digital Technologies (NASDAQ: HIVE) announced a collaboration to advance AI-driven robotics applications and infrastructure capabilities.
Under the arrangement, AMC Robotics has begun using HIVE's GPU AI compute infrastructure and services to support development, testing, and deployment activities. The companies are exploring additional cooperation areas including AI optimization, data processing, and infrastructure scalability.
AMC Robotics demonstrated its AI-powered quadruped robot Kyro at the Tokyo Security Show 2026. The robot functions as a mobile AI edge computing platform capable of autonomous navigation, heat detection, and remote operation for security and inspection tasks.
"As we continue to expand our AI-driven robotics solutions, access to reliable and scalable infrastructure is increasingly important," said Sean Da, CEO of AMC Robotics. "Our collaboration with HIVE supports our current operational needs while also opening the door to potential deeper collaboration as we look ahead."
HIVE has been expanding its GPU AI Cloud infrastructure through its BUZZ HPC subsidiary to serve enterprise demand across AI training, inference, and robotics workloads. The company will provide AMC Robotics with compute resources for its development and deployment activities.
Frank Holmes, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of HIVE, noted the collaboration positions both firms in growing robotics markets. Aydin Kilic, President and CEO of HIVE, said robotics applications represent a growing area of demand for AI compute infrastructure.
The companies stated the collaboration is expected to evolve as HIVE scales its global infrastructure and AMC Robotics moves toward production deployment. Future arrangements would be subject to further evaluation and mutually agreed terms.
AMC Robotics develops intelligent robotics solutions, with its Kyro quadruped platform enabling automation of inspection, security, and operational tasks. HIVE operates data centers across Canada, Sweden, and Paraguay, serving Bitcoin mining and high-performance computing clients.
