ALT5 Sigma Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTS) holds approximately 7.28 billion WLFI tokens valued at about $1.1 billion as of December 8, according to a company statement. The tokens trade at $0.15 each.

The Las Vegas-based fintech company operates three business segments: WLFI Treasury, Fintech & Payments, and a legacy biotech division. The company plans to integrate USD1 stablecoin, which has a market capitalization exceeding $2.5 billion, into its payment platform.

WLFI serves as the governance token for World Liberty Financial, a decentralized finance platform that developed the USD1 stablecoin. ALT5's payment platforms, ALT5 Pay and ALT5 Prime, have processed over $5 billion in cryptocurrency transactions since inception.

ALT5 Pay provides payment services for corporations and merchants, supporting crypto-to-fiat conversion and settlement across multiple jurisdictions. ALT5 Prime offers digital asset trading and settlement services to financial institutions including trading desks and hedge funds.

In November, ALT5's infrastructure was included in a joint venture with AlphaTON Capital and PagoPay to launch a crypto-enabled Mastercard program. The program allows cardholders to spend digital assets including TON and USD1 directly from their wallets.

The company's biotech subsidiary, Alyea Therapeutics Corporation, holds patents for non-addictive pain treatments. ALT5 stated it plans to proceed to the next stage of clinical trials and continues evaluating strategic options for this division.

"ALT5's fintech success over the past several years stems from our nimble, startup-driven approach," said Tony Issac, President and CEO of ALT5.

The information is based on a company press release statement.
