Argus reiterated a Buy rating and boosted its price target on Zimmer Holdings (NYSE: ZMH) to $135.00 (from $116.00) following mixed Q4 results.
While the planned acquisition of Biomet is taking longer to complete, it is expected to close by the end of the year.
"We are encouraged that management sees stability in the orthopedic surgical market, and note that its comments are consistent with those recently made by Johnson & Johnson and Stryker," the analyst said. "This suggests that it is a good time for Zimmer and Biomet to join forces."
