Cowen analyst Jason Gabelman lowered the price target on Valero Energy (NYSE: VLO) to $82.00 (from $85.00) while maintaining an Outperform rating.
"We expect a beat versus consensus given its ethanol production business will enable it to capture elevated ethanol prices, offsetting the refining impacts," the analyst commented.
