BofA/Merrill Lynch analyst Vaibhav (Vebs) Vaishnav reiterated a Buy rating and boosted his price target on U.S. Silica Holdings (NYSE: SLCA) to $60.00 (from $54.00) on increased confidence in their 2014/15 Street-high EPS estimates.
On the road with CFO Don Merril the analyst noted very high investor interest. They are buyers of the stock despite the 42% YTD run-up given: (1) accelerating frac sand demand; (2) demand growth outpacing supply growth in 2014/2015; and (3) good potential for further price increases.
