Needham analyst Charles Shi lowered the price target on Amkor Technology (NASDAQ: AMKR) to $22.00 (from $34.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "Amkor reported a surprise beat-and-raise quarter but retracted its full-year, by-segment revenue guidance, citing uncertainties in 2H due to tariffs. Management anticipates that its stronger 1H25 will at least lead to reduced H/H growth in 2H25. On tariffs, management said that only a small portion of AMKR's total output is products shipped directly to the U.S., but tariffs could have an impact on the downstream supply chain, which ships electronics into the U.S., and could also be felt by AMKR. We are derisking our estimates and now conservatively modeling -5% and 0% top-line growth for 2025 and 2026. Our PT is cut to $22. Maintain Buy."
