Nomura Securities analyst Ian Shackleton reiterated a Buy rating and bumped his price target on Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) to $54.00 (from $53.00) on self-help moves.
"Ahead of 4Q results due on 9 February, we have revisited the potential for self-help within KO and continue to see upside that allows us to increase our TP from USD53 to USD54," Shackleton commeented. "On top of our core DCF value of USD45, we see additional upside, particularly from more cost cutting (USD5 per share, as previously); in addition, we have identified bottling reconfiguration moves that are worth USD1.5 per share and the potential for price/mix in N America to add USD2.5 per share."
