Susquehanna analyst, Shyam Patil, reiterated his Positive rating on the shares of The Priceline Group (NASDAQ: PCLN) and raised his price target to $2,200 from $2,150 on the belief that room night growth will readjust to the mid-to-high teens, which is still robust and points to a healthy share gain story.
The analyst stated "we remain Positive on PCLN’s secular opportunity to penetrate hotels and private accommodations room nights, which should continue to drive strong overall growth. While room night growth expectations are being readjusted downward, we believe room nights growth is likely to hold strong in the mid-to-high teens and would recommend buying on the pullback".
