Jefferies analyst Andrew Andersen lowered the price target on W.R. Berkley (NYSE: WRB) to $70.00 (from $75.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "4Q25 Op EPS of $1.13 beat JEF $1.05 and was in-line with Cons. We lower our EPS estimates by 2% reflective of higher tax/ER and lower growth in both segments. We found messaging less clear this quarter, but overall found the tone indicative of competitive pressures emerging. We continue to model underlying LR deterioration over the next two years as the company pointed to less need for rate which we found counterintuitive given continued loss inflation. PT $70."
