BTIG analyst Jake Fuller reiterated a Buy rating and $60.00 price target on Unity Software (NYSE: U).
The analyst comments "On Unity, our conversation was seemingly more mixed highlighting a 15-20% jump in ROAS early in the use case with Unity Vector before encountering challenges with scaling spend. Overall, 4Q growth still reached 20% y/y (10% q/q) for our expert's visible spend as the platformed gained attention/new testers, and some of the initial problems were alleviated, though in total Unity still makes up just ~5% of overall marketing mix. For 2026, our expert forecasts ~18% y/y growth in spend on Unity, stating he does not expect the company to have a breakout year relative to performance. Context from those that had spoken to our expert in previous quarters suggests that 4Q/2026 commentary represented an improvement. We also briefly discussed Unity's new D28 product, which was the most positive component of the overall discussion. Feedback suggested that the Vector product has captured spend mostly from casual or hypercasual developer clients, whereas D28 is expected to draw spend from higher LTV clients in the traditional midcore categories. As a result, we believe D28 could allow Unity to tap into a new segment of its developer base, which would be additive to overall gross spend."
