United Rentals (URI) Momentum Will Make Another Pass Soon - Analyst

Ahead of analyst day on December 4th, Oppenheimer reiterated an Outperform rating on United Rentals (NYSE: URI) with a price target of $55.00.

"We anticipate URI continuing to deliver strong growth/margin expansion with/without a non-residential construction tailwind via its secular story of customers increasingly opting to rent vs. buy,” said analyst Scott Schneeberger.

Though range-bound for six weeks, Schneeberger thinks momentum in the stock could resume pending resolution of the 'fiscal cliff' overhang. He also thinks the upcoming analyst day will create a catalyst.
