Uncertainty Surrounds Genomic (GHDX), Goldman Starts at Neutral

Goldman Sachs initiates coverage on Genomic Health Inc. (NASDAQ: GHDX) with a Neutral rating and a price target of $36.00.

Goldman believes Genomic has growth potential, but it is offset by underappreciated market development costs and mounting competition and an uncertain regulatory environment.

"Our proprietary analysis of GHDX’s new products and the regulatory landscape suggests these new tests may improve on the standard of care but face material uncertainties that are not yet fully appreciated by the Street.," said analyst Isaac Ro.
