UPDATE: NexPoint Residential Trust (NXRT) PT Raised to $44 at Ladenburg Thalmann

Ladenburg Thalmann analyst John J. Massocca raised the price target on NexPoint Residential Trust (NYSE: NXRT) to $44.00 (from $41.50) while maintaining a Buy rating.

Analyst says: "Given the REIT’s 100% focus on Class B apartments, which remain in high demand from various investors, we believe the aforementioned reNAV/sh premium is justified. We also see upside from NXRT’s 1.) potential to realize high single-digit same-store NOI growth through 2021 via its rehab program; 2.) heavy exposure to high job-growth MSAs like Dallas, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Nashville; and 3.) its shareholder friendly management structure."
