Needham & Company reiterates a 'Buy' on VMware (NYSE: VMW) price target raised from $115 to $127.
Analyst, Scott Zeller, said, "The VMware MarQ results were solid, and likely a relief, given the recent announcement of CFO Mark Peek’s retirement in June, and a fear that guidance may be conservative. VMW continues to ride the strength of the data center refresh trend; the construction of private clouds at companies is a strong revenue driver for the company, as demonstrated by VMW’s continued license strength."
Raises FY12 EPS estimate from $2.61 to $2.68.
