UPDATE: Jefferies Starts Generation Bio (GBIO) at Buy

Jefferies analyst Eun Yang initiates coverage on Generation Bio (NASDAQ: GBIO) with a Buy rating and a price target of $38.00.

The analyst comments "We think its highly differentiated, potentially transformative non-viral gene therapy platform and strong management team set GBIO apart from peers. Though still in preclinical stage, success in first human proof-of-concept (PoC) study (data by YE22) could drive the shares substantially higher given the potential of its broadly applicable and rapidly expandable platform. Catalysts include additional animal PoC data in 2H20 and pipeline advancement from 2021."
