Cantor Fitzgerald downgraded Sucampo Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: SCMP) from Buy to Hold. Comments follow mixed Q1 results. Analyst Irina Rivkind Koffler views shares as fully valued and thinks the stock will trade range-bound.

"Sucampo reported revenues of $29.5 million and non-GAAP fully diluted earnings per share of $0.14 relative to FactSet consensus estimates of $30.6 million and $0.12, respectively. We had estimated $29.6 million and $0.14," noted Koffler.

"We view the stock as fully valued at current levels and believe that it may remain range-bound until the company executes on a transaction to bolster its pipeline or adds some commercial stage asset to its portfolio. Since we have limited visibility into this event or its timing, we prefer to wait on the sidelines to get more bullish on the story," added the analyst.
