UBS analyst Mark Carden reiterated a Buy rating and $135.00 price target on BJ's Wholesale (NYSE: BJ).
The analyst commented, "We're expecting BJ's to demonstrate continued demand for its membership offering in 2Q, even if its comp growth softens sequentially on the back of a tougher compare. We think its consumables business probably led the way once again, with the company benefitting from its investments in Fresh 2.0 and market share capture from Stop & Shop's late 2024 store closures. That said, we don't expect big ticket items to be much of a driver as the co's core consumers likely remained a bit stretched & more focused on everyday needs."
