In a morning research note Thursday, Susquehanna's Jonathon Casteleyn is suggesting a lofty takeout value for Janus (NYSE: JNS).

The analyst believes a strategic buyer could offer the company as much as $18 per share. A financial buyer, in a bullish case, could bid around $10.50-$11.50 per share for the company.

Susquehanna maintains a Positive rating and $14 price target on shares of Janus.

The stock closed Wednesday's session at $7.30, suggesting a good deal of upside from here.
