StoneX analyst Todd Brooks reiterated a Buy rating and $80.00 price target on BJ's Restaurants (NASDAQ: BJRI).
The analyst commented, "We have seen solid traffic momentum across 3Q for many full-service casual dining concepts, but the strength of the traffic performance at BJ’s Restaurants (BJRI) (along with CAKE and the Chili’s brand for EAT) stands out to us when we analyze Placer AI traffic data for the quarter. While the data points to a stronger traffic lift than implied by our SSS estimate increase (raising 3Q26 SSS estimate to 6.5% vs. 4.5% prior and 4.4% consensus), we are allowing for any incremental mix pressure that may have been seen during 3Q. BJRI’s effective everyday (M-F) value platform (the Pizookie Mean Deal) continues to resonate with consumers (especially in younger age cohorts). This is complemented by the work that the team has done to elevate core menu pillars including BJ’s signature pizza, the burger platform, and most recently, BJ’s chicken sandwich offering. Our increased SSS estimate results in a $0.04 boost in our 3Q26 AEPS estimate ($0.22 v. $0.16 consensus) and to our AEBITDA estimate ($28.9M v. $27.5M consensus). We are maintaining our Buy rating and $80 PT."
