Stifel analyst Rick Wise reiterated a Hold rating and $260.00 price target on Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ).
The analyst commented, "Our model reflects two recent JNJ transactions and related financial impacts. On July 29th, JNJ announced the completed acquisition of Firefly Bio, Inc. (“Firefly”) as well as entry into strategic agreements/collaborations with Sail Biomedicines (“Sail”). Both companies are early-stage biotech companies developing novel therapeutic platforms. Sail is focused on "in vivo CAR-T therapies" for autoimmune diseases and Firefly on "degrader antibody conjugates" for cancertreatment. Together, JNJ expects the two transactions to dilute full-year-2026 EPS by $0.64/share, with $0.46/share attributable to Firefly and $0.18/share attributable to Sail. Looking ahead to 2027, the completed Firefly acquisition is expected to dilute EPS by $0.08/share, while Sail could result in an incremental $1.28/share dilution, beyond regular operating costs."
