Stifel analyst J. Bruce Chan downgraded Schneider National (NYSE: SNDR) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $26.00 (from $32.00).

The analyst comments: "Schneider reported 4Q25 EPS of $0.13, missing the $0.20 consensus and our $0.21 estimate. Soft and choppy demand was a headline culprit, in our view, but there were some Schneider-specific issues too. Truck supply tightening remains a core driver of opportunity in this group, and Schneider is seeing evidence of it in different parts of the portfolio. If trends continue, Network operations are the first and most favorably-levered, but Schneider remains committed to diversifying into more stable-earning Dedicated business, which now represents ~70% of Truckload mix. While we can't argue with that logic over the long run, it's harder for us to squeeze upside out of the model early in the cycle than one-way, over-the-road operations. So, while Schneider benefits from supply tightening, after a decent run since early October, we're shifting focus to Knight-Swift for the next leg of appreciation."
