Piper Sandler analyst Matthew O'Brien reiterated an Overweight rating and $25.00 price target on Alphatec Holdings (NASDAQ: ATEC).
The analyst commented: "Nice End to the Year and Positive Setup for '26; Buy on the Dip; This afternoon, ATEC announced Q4 results that came in at the high end of management's preannounced range, beating our estimates on the top and bottom lines. Further, management reiterated its top-line and FCF outlook for the year, and raised its adj. EBITDA expectations, proving confidence in their ability to drive leverage throughout the P&L to deliver on profitability metrics (which has long been a focus area among investors). Overall, we viewed today's results as positive and we believe the broad-based growth the company is driving is durable, as ATEC has done an excellent job attracting new surgeons and driving higher utilization among its existing surgeon base (and Valence is now on the market which should help too). We are perplexed as to why the stock is down double digits in the aftermarket given the improved profitability outlook and momentum heading into '26. We encourage investors buy on the dip."
