Piper Sandler Upgrades Knowles Corp (KN) to Overweight

Piper Sandler analyst Harsh Kumar upgraded Knowles Corp (NYSE: KN) from Neutral to Overweight with a price target of $23.00 (from $19.00).

The analyst comments "We are upgrading Knowles, as we see the operational issues affecting March quarter gross margin and the demand concerns surrounding Chinese handsets easing as we enter the June 2020 quarter. In addition, we expect these near-term trends to completely reverse in the second half of 2020. We believe the majority of the operational issues are already under control and largely fixed, and simply put, Knowles is carrying some higher cost inventory as result of the issues."
