Nomura Securities Reiterates a 'Buy' on Linear Technology (LLTC); Outlook Good

Nomura Securities reiterates a 'Buy' on Linear Technology (NASDAQ: LLTC) price target of $35.00.

Analyst, Romit Shah, said, "March revenue was in line at $312mn. However, excluding a one cent tax benefit, EPS of $0.41 missed our $0.42 estimate by $0.01 and consensus by $0.02. The miss was driven by higher operating expenses related to the Dust Networks acquisition...Order trends appear healthy. Book-to-bill is above 1.0...Incremental operating margins were less than 40% in the March quarter but should improve in June."
