Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on AMD (NYSE: AMD) price target of $8.00.
Analyst, Romit Shah, said, "AMD launched its second-gen APU (Trinity). Trinity offers better performance and battery life than Llano, but comes in at around 20% below Intel's Ivy Bridge parts in performance. Trinity is not likely to provide an ASP lift that many were hoping for. GPU performance is better, but we believe Intel has closed the gap a bit with Ivy Bridge. AMD trades at a 7x multiple of CY13E EPS vs 12x for our coverage."
