Needham & Company reiterated their Hold rating on Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA) ahead of Q1 results on April 20. The firm said their "Street-Low" estimates for Q1 sales, EPS may be too conservative but the stock appears to discount any upside surprise.

The analyst comments, "Our sales and EPS estimates for UA’s 1Q’12 are the lowest among consensus. We expect sales to be up 15.8% vs least year. Consensus is calling for an increase of 21%. Our EPS estimate of $0.18 vs. $0.23 last year is well below the consensus of $0.24. While we don’t "know" our estimate is more accurate than others, we have taken a more conservative approach to the first half of 2012 because of unseasonable weather early in 1Q. If we are right, there could be some downside pressure on the shares. If we are too conservative, we may have to review our estimates for the balance of the year. We maintain our Hold rating."
