Murphy USA (MUSA) Added to Jefferies Franchise List

Jefferies analyst Christopher Mandeville reiterated a Buy rating on Murphy USA (NYSE: MUSA) and added the stock to the Jefferies Franchise List. The analyst also raised his price target to $82.00 (from $76.00).

Mandeville commented, "We grow increasingly confident in the intermediate-to-long term outlook and add our top C-store name to the Jefferies Franchise Pick list given the following: 1) a strong 1Q16 that confirmed robust merch. margin expansion (notably the CORE supplier contract), 2) cost savings are set to accelerate, 3) encouraging traffic patterns at WMT, 4) a cont'd favorable economic backdrop/secular trends, and 5) a more constructive view on RIN pricing."
