Mizuho analyst John Roberts reiterated an Outperform rating and $396.00 price target on Sherwin-Williams (NYSE: SHW).
The analyst comments "Formal Investor Day on Sep. 24, but we had time to mingle with CEO, CFO & operational leaders after a tour of new HQ (opened late 2025). Business appears to us on plan, and no surprises appeared in store for formal sessions. Given muted macro environment, we expect meetings to be focused on controlling the controllables. Recently ended bid for industrial businesses of AkzoNobel (link), doesn’t appear to signal that SHW is focused on M&A and, we believe, remains selective. New HQ (prior HQ was 100y+ old) functions as training center (including painting demonstration rooms), product exhibition center, and place to attract world-class talent (onsite healthcare, gym, café/restaurant, many collaboration areas, etc.). After tomorrow's presentations, SHW will also provide a tour of its new global R&D center."
