Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh reiterated an Outperform rating and $100.00 price target on General Motors (NYSE: GM).
The analyst commented: "GM reported good JunQ Rev/EPS of $48.0B/$3.57 (above cons. $46.6B/$3.19), wholesale Auto units ~990K, (up ~2%, 4ppts better than LVP dn 2% y/y). Key Highlights: 1) Raised 2026E EBIT/EPS/auto FCF guide to $15B/$13.00/$10.5B, above cons at $14.5B/$12.81 (prior $14.5B/$12.50/$10B) with tariff costs reiterated at ~$3B, 2) 2027E expected better with lower costs, stronger pricing, SW revs, better EV profitability, 3) cost headwinds up slightly in 2H26E with logistics/DRAM, but we believe partially offset by better pricing with 2026E GMNA ASPs now estimated up 0.5% y/y (prior: flat to up 0.5% y/y) and 4) NA EBIT of 8-10% intact as we see pricing, better EV profitability and warranty costs offset higher commodity/DRAM costs. Maintain Outperform PT at $100, adjusting estimates. We remain positive on GM, with good execution and ICE SUV/pickup leadership, despite N-T cost headwinds."
