Loop Capital Upgrades Ollie's Bargain Outlet (OLLI) to Buy

Loop Capital analyst Anthony Cukumba upgraded Ollie's Bargain Outlet (NASDAQ: OLLI) from Hold to Buy with a price target of $135.00 (from $130.00).

The analyst commented: "We are upgrading Ollie's Bargain Outlet ("Ollie's") to a Buy from a Hold rating while raising our price target to $135 from $130 following our recent store tour led by Managing Director, Corporate Communication & Business Development John Rouleau and district management. We believe investors are underestimating Ollie's ability to "comp the comp" in F2026 for three primary reasons: (1) Big Lots' liquidation is "the gift that keeps on giving," particularly given the resulting plethora of potential store locations and incremental supplier relationships; (2) Ollie's is increasingly carrying consumables which are driving more consistent store visits; and (3) the current management team is taking a much more data driven, scientific approach to the business as compared to its predecessors (e.g., "substituting" toys for holiday seasonal merchandise and gifts). We also raised our F4Q 2025 estimates based on the store tour and our belief Ollie's is well positioned for the holiday selling season as consumers "trade down" from higher priced alternatives given the uncertain US macroeconomic environment. Our new $135 price target is based on 30.1x our F2026 diluted EPS estimate, which is in line with the comparable company average."
