Vertical Research Partners analyst Robert Stallard lowered the price target on Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) to $460.00 (from $505.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst commented, "These 2Q results continue a losing streak for Lockheed, having lost the NGAD competition and its CFO to Boeing. The 2Q charges are yet another reminder of the risks involved in fixed price development contracts in defense, and we came away from the call with limited comfort as to the chance of further charges in the future. With cashflow now set to decline in 2026, Lockheed continues to struggle to match the growth outlook that some of its peers are projecting. We reiterate our Hold rating."
