RBC Capital analyst Mike Dahl lowered the price target on KB Home (NYSE: KBH) to $50.00 (from $53.00) while maintaining a Sector Perform rating.
The analyst commented: "Our FY'26E EPS declines -2% on the mixed F3Q and weaker F4Q guide, with our FY'27E EPS falling -22% as we trim growth and margin outlooks ('26/'27E -5%/-31% vs. prior Street) given the ongoing macro/ rate/inflation headwinds. Some idiosyncratic margin tailwinds continue as BTO mix is now normalized and West Coast mix increases next through next year. That said, broader housing headwinds remain and continue to present risks to '27 earnings. A depressed valuation of ~0.8x current TBV remains an offset. We remain SP with our PT now $50."
