RBC Capital analyst, Mitch Steves, offered his top 5 things to look for in Juniper's (NYSE: JNPR) analyst day May 17th:
1) Long-term Growth: Juniper has suggested that the Company can grow 3-6% long-term with flat to slightly up trends in CY16
2) Telecom Spending: After a slower start to 1H16, visibility will be a focal point. Roughly 30% of revenue tied to telecom specific customers.
3) Operating Margin Target Update: Juniper set expectations for a 25% long-term operating margin target. However, recent commentary suggests the back half will see margins of ~27% (expectations closer to 25.5-26%).
4) Acquisitions: With BTI complete, the analyst thinks the Company will remain focused on small to mid-sized tuck-in acquisitions.
5) FCF & Capital Allocation: Free cash flow use beyond M&A could lead to an update on share repurchases and the cadence over the next 2-3 years.
The firm maintained a Perform rating and price target of $25.
