Jefferies reiterated their Buy rating but trimmed their price target on Finish Line (NASDAQ: FINL) following their trading call into 4Q that did not materialize. The firm surprised the market with an with an accelerated level of investment from an elevated base, the firm notes.
"That said, we believe the stock is set to outperform as investment intentions are now entirely on the table," the analyst commented. "The introduction of EPS guidance allows the company to better manage expectations. We do see upward EPS bias and flow-through on better sales going forward."
FY12 EPS goes from $1.81 to $1.65.
