Jefferies analyst David Windley reiterated a Buy rating and $419.00 price target on Humana (NYSE: HUM).
The analyst commented: "The recent 15% share decline since early Sept is due to fears HUM's ~2.8M PPO contract, H5216, falls from 4.5* to 3.5* and leaves a ~$9 EPS hole in 2026. Some of that negative outcome is priced in, but not all, which sets up a binary event that could see the stock move dramatically in either direction depending on the outcome. However, the math appears in HUM's favor and a 4* result should be the base case which skews risk/reward to the upside, in our view."
