Jefferies raised its price target on Hold-rated Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL) from $7 to $8 following strong Q4 volume growth due to strength in Germany, the US, and China.
The firm notes GM of 7.1% came below their expectation due to 19% ASP decline.
Jefferies adjusted their estimates and expect TSL to grow shipment by 35% in 2012 and by 32% in 2013.
Q1 EPS goes from ($0.21) to ($0.15) and FY12 goes from ($0.21) to ($.015). FY13 was raised from $1.16 to $1.37.
