Jefferies trimmed estimates but lowered its price target on Costco Wholesale (NASDAQ: COST) from $92 to $97 but maintained a Hold rating.
"We are expecting an overall comp store sales increase of 5-6%," analyst Daniel Binder commented. "We are also forecasting the core U.S. comp store sales will increase in a range of 5-6%. The company's rich multiple at over 21x August 14E EPS appears to more than reflect the strong traffic gains and higher store growth this year."
Q2 2013 EPS estimates goes from $0.99 to $0.98, FY 2013 is maintained at and FY 2014 EPS estimates go from $4.80 to $4.78.
