H.C. Wainwright analyst Brandon Folkes reiterated a Buy rating and $20.00 price target on Enanta Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ENTA).
The analyst commented: "We view Enanta's recent FDA alignment on zelicapavir as an important positive development that meaningfully reduces regulatory uncertainty and establishes a clear path toward registration in RSV. Following discussions with the agency, the company received agreement to advance zelicapavir through a single Phase 2b/3 study in high-risk adult RSV patients rather than conducting two independent Phase 3 trials. In our view, the outcome compares favorably with investor expectations and reflects the strength of the efficacy signal observed in the previously reported RSVHR study. The agreement not only lowers the expected development burden but also provides a more efficient path to market while preserving the opportunity to generate meaningful clinical data on both symptom resolution and hospitalization outcomes. Reiterate Buy and $20 price target."
