Guggenheim analyst John DiFucci downgraded Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) from Neutral to Sell with a price target of $212.00.
The analyst comments "We are downgrading to Sell from Neutral and introducing a price target of $212. We don’t necessarily expect MSFT to miss numbers, but they may disappoint investors nevertheless for both F2Q23 and guidance for the year. The stock trades at 11.7x EV/NTM Recurring Revenue and 8.2x EV/Total Revenue, though those forecasts might be optimistic. It also trades at 25.5x EV/NTM FCF. While most investors see MSFT as a large stable business that can weather any storm, it does have vulnerabilities, some of which could be exacerbated by this macro slowdown."
