Jefferies commented on Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) after query growth data, reiterating their Buy rating and price target of $825.
The firm comments, "Explicit query growth Y/Y for the industry for February was up ~14% Y/Y, a noticeable acceleration from January's +5.0%, which supports our view that eCommerce trends remain healthy so far in 1Q12. Query share for Google was roughly flat M/M and QTD, while Yahoo! continued to lose share to Bing."
Bottom line: is Bing outpaced Yahoo! but Google continues to dominate.
