Goldman Sachs analyst Michael Lapides upgraded Exelon (NYSE: EXC) from Neutral to Buy with a price target of $52.00 (from $48.00).
- Upgrades on possible upside to consensus expectations.
- "We previously expected a meaningful decline in ExGen earnings power in 2019+ – driving our largely flat consolidated earnings trajectory – but now see just a modest decline in ExGen earnings power given our expectation that power prices continue to decline (although at a more moderate pace vs our prior estimates), and a much more normal earnings growth trajectory for the company."
