Goldman Sachs analyst Jordan Alliger downgraded J.B. Hunt Transport Services (NASDAQ: JBHT) from Buy to Neutral with a price target of $164.00.
The analyst comments: "Our 12-month price target is $164 (unchanged) based on applying a target multiple of 22.0x (unchanged) on our unchanged Q5-Q8 EPS estimates ($7.47). Downside risks include macro-related concerns of a global recession and tariff impact, rail service faltering after recovery, lack of recovery on truckload contract rates, and competitive threats from digital brokerage pricing. Longer term risks include overcapacity in the industry which demand cannot absorb and weaker pricing."
