Goldman Sachs reiterated their Buy rating and $33 price target on EMC (NYSE: EMC) ahead of first quarter earnings on Thursday, April 19, before the market open.
The firm sees EMC meeting or beating their revenue and EPS estimates of $5.17 billion and $0.37 and exceeding the consensus of $5.12 billion and $0.36.
"While we expect the company to remain conservative on the macro outlook and HDD supply constraints, we believe conditions have improved markedly since EMC last provided guidance in January," the analyst said. "As a result, we continue to believe that EMC could exceed guidance and consensus as we progress through the year, and we expect the company to modestly raise its full year outlook."

Shares of EMC closed at $28.87 yesterday.
