Goldman Sachs bumped estimates and its price target on Buy-rated eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) from $44 to $48 following Q1 results saying there are signs of growth acceleration in both payments and marketplaces.

"With signs of growth acceleration in both payments and marketplaces, the stock is trading at a significant discount to the group and eBay’s growth rate, and with $5 per share in net cash, we continue to believe that eBay represents the best risk/reward in the internet space," the analyst said.

The firm is raising 2Q and FY 2012 non-GAAP EPS estimates based on the strength in both businesses to $0.55 and $2.35 from $0.51 and $2.28. Our 2013/2014 EPS estimates go to $2.73/$3.18 from $2.71/$3.15 on flow-through.
