After opening today's trading session down about 2.5%, shares of General Electric (NYSE: GE) have now spiked into positive territory. The stock is now up 1.9%, or $0.20, to $10.63.

GE's stock price hasn't been at this level since February 18. Since March 4, when shares of GE dipped below $6, the price has risen by 85.5%.

While GE has not released any news today, investors may be buying the stock on the back of a Deutsche Bank report which updates some thoughts on GE Capital following the unit's investor day last week. Deutsche believes that losses at GE Capital could potentially be funded internally. The firm reiterated its Hold rating and $11 price target on shares of GE.
