Mizuho Securities analyst James Lee reiterated a Buy rating and $210.00 price target on Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) on the belief that there are there are three key implications to recent management departures none of which is a negative inflection in fundamentals.
The analyst stated:
1) We believe FB can manage the uncertainties given its deep bench, similar to Google
2) The changes represent a sense of urgency to accelerate product development as traffic shifts to messaging due to a preference for privacy - a lesson learned from the Stories transition
3) Product roadmap for Messenger includes search to monetize SMBs, and gaming based on WeChat’s success
