Stifel analyst J. Bruce Chan raised the price target on Expeditors Int'l (NYSE: EXPD) to $141.00 (from $136.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "Expeditors reported 4Q25 EPS of $1.49, ahead of our estimate of $1.39 and modestly above the street's $1.47. Revenues declined 3% y/y, reflecting continued ocean rate compression and lower container volumes, partially offset by resilient airfreight volume growth and sustained double-digit expansion in customs brokerage & other. The fourth quarter reflected a more challenging rate backdrop versus elevated 2024 ocean comparisons, with margin compression in both air and ocean partially offset by structural growth in higher-value service lines. Despite softer top-line environment, the company returned $875mm to shareholders in 2025, and authorized a new $3bn buyback. We believe the setup into 2026 is characterized by modest air margin recovery, structurally resilient customs growth, and continued ocean normalization. In our view, the key swing factor remains rate stability in ocean and the durability of tech/ecommerce driven air demand."
