Freedom Broker analyst Ilya Zubkov raised the price target on Electromed (NYSE: ELMD) to $50.00 (from $45.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "● We maintain our Buy rating and raise our target price from $45 to $50. Electromed’s FY26 results provide a validation of our investment thesis, as the company translated 15.3% revenue growth into structural operating leverage, expanding its operating margin by over 370 basis points to 18.8%. ● The core Direct Homecare business continues to exceed expectations, with average representative productivity of $1.145 million hitting a record high and surpassing management’s target range, underpinned by successful payer coverage expansion and high-diagnosing physician campaigns. ● A structurally higher margin profile is emerging as a durable competitive advantage, as Electromed’s direct-to-patient model allowed it to sustain 78.5% gross margins for over a year while successfully absorbing significant inflationary pressures in electronics and freight. ● Despite superior fundamental momentum, the surprise announcement of the CEO’s impending retirement introduces management transition risk, shifting the nearterm focus to successor selection following a period of massive operational value creation."
