Oppenheimer analyst Bryan Blair raised the price target on ESAB (NYSE: ESAB) to $148.00 (from $142.00) while maintaining a Outperform rating.
The analyst comments: "Shares are down 8% since ESAB's August 6th 2Q25 print (vs. S&P +10%), reflecting investor concerns about growth and margin progression following a somewhat noisy 2Q-3Q period (influenced by tariff-related shipment delays and investment timing). We view these headwinds as transient, with ESAB set to resume a healthy cadence of EBX-guided outgrowth and margin expansion going forward. We believe ESAB's runway for international market outperformance has only strengthened over recent past (further opening of Venezuela/Latin America now additive) and EWM integration furthers equipment growth upside across geographies, with particularly needle-moving prospects in the US market over time. And importantly, we also expect ESAB to remain aggressive on M&A, with favorable signaling regarding larger-scale gas control equipment deals (potentially game-changing for the story, in our view)."
